My Fat Cutting Diet: How I’ve Lost 10kg Without Hunger

You are in the right place if you’re searching for an effective fat cutting diet. It actually works without leaving you feeling deprived. I crafted this fat cutting diet based on my earlier blog stories. In those stories, I’ve delved into nutrition science and real-world testing. This diet has helped me drop from 101kg to 90.6kg so far. It is a sustainable approach to fat loss. Let’s dive into how this fat cutting diet is structured and why it’s delivering results.

Why This Fat Cutting Diet Stands Out: Blending Science and Popular Strategies

What makes this fat cutting diet unique? It’s rooted in my extensive scientific research over the last few months. This plan is not tied to any specific diet. Nevertheless, it ends up incorporating the best parts of many popular diets. My diet intersects with these popular diets:

  • Keto Diet: Low-carb focus to shift your body into fat-burning mode (ketosis) for steady energy.
  • Mediterranean Diet: Emphasis on whole, nutrient-rich foods like veggies, fish, and healthy fats for long-term health benefits.
  • Modified Intermittent Fasting: Timed eating windows to optimise hormones like insulin and cortisol, enhancing fat loss without extreme fasting.
  • Atkins Diet: High protein intake to curb hunger, support muscle repair, and keep metabolism humming.

This fat cutting diet isn’t restrictive—it’s strategic. By combining these elements, it promotes fat loss. It also protects lean muscle. This makes it ideal for anyone looking to slim down effectively.

The Structure of My Fat Cutting Diet: Timed Phases for Optimal Efficiency

To make fat loss straightforward, this fat cutting diet divides the day into targeted phases. Each phase aligns with your body’s natural rhythms. It ranges from boosting metabolism in the morning to priming overnight fat burning. Here’s the breakdown:

Morning to 1pm: Focus on Fat Burning and Muscle Maintenance

  • Start your day strong with this phase of the fat cutting diet. It protects against muscle wasting, lowers cortisol, and fuels your brain for peak performance.
    • Meal 1: Upon Waking – Quick nutrients to kickstart fat burning and prevent muscle breakdown.
    • Meal 2: First Meal (Best After Weight Training) – Triggers muscle growth pathways for recovery and gains.

1pm to 5pm: Hunger Suppression for Sustained Energy

  • Midday in this fat cutting diet is all about volume—eat big, feel full, and avoid calorie overload.
    • Meal 3: Lunch – A high-volume meal where you eat until satisfied, packed with veggies and protein.

After 5pm: Insulin Control for Overnight Fat Loss

  • Wind down with low-carb choices to keep insulin low, allowing your body to burn fat while you rest.
    • Meal 4: Dinner – moderate-protein, low-carb finale to cap the day.
Daily Breakdown: What a Day on This Fat Cutting Diet Looks Like

Here’s the exact schedule for my fat cutting diet. It totals around 1,700 calories. The total can reach up to 2,000 with a couple of glasses of wine. The diet emphasises lean proteins, minimal added fats, and whole foods. This keeps things calorie-controlled yet satisfying. Supplements are included where research shows they enhance fat loss and recovery.

I incorporate morning weight training at least 3 times per week (normally 4 times). This practice maximises the post-workout meal’s benefits in this fat cutting diet. The black coffees offer a natural appetite suppressant and energy lift.

Built-In Flexibility: Refeeds and Moderate Indulgences in Your Fat Cutting Diet

Sustainability is key in any fat cutting diet. I include a weekly refeed meal that is high in carbs but low in added fats. This helps to recharge and prevent plateaus. My favourite? Nachos (minus the cheese), with heaps of guacamole for that satisfying crunch without derailing progress.

I’m also flexible with drinks: Sugar-free soft drinks are okay, and I enjoy a couple of wines at dinner. This fat cutting diet proves that you can lose fat without giving up all the joys. You just need to keep portions in check.

Results So Far and Planning for Maintenance After This Fat Cutting Diet

I’ve lost 10kg steadily, feeling more energetic and definitely slimmer. I’m now on my smallest belt hole as there’s a heap of fat loss around the waist. It’s also great to wear my smaller shirts again. I’m still testing this diet and the proof of it working is in actually reaching the goal I’ve set. So far it has been very easy to stick to so I remain confident in it. The hardest thing about it so far is the amount of cooking required. It’s quite time consuming.

Looking ahead, I’m focusing on post-goal maintenance to avoid yo-yo dieting. At this point, my longer-term eating plan will include some easy to follow rules. Some elements of the cutting diet will remain. It sounds very structured, but that won’t be the intention. It will be flexible within a give structure.
